We are delighted to invite you to the first face to face Marketing WAM meeting in 18 months and hope you can join us at Glasshouse, Alderley Park on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 @ 8.30am-10am.
For those who have not experienced Glasshouse it is a truly innovative and inspiring place – just right for reconnecting after such a challenging time. Sam Darby, Head of Development, Bruntwood SciTech will be one hand to welcome everyone and do a 5 min overview of Alderley Park.
- Not many sectors have had it harder than the travel industry during Covid so headlining our first meeting back will be Adam Jupp, Communications Director at Manchester Airports Group. He will be talking about the journey the airport has been on in the last 18 months, its many comms and business challenges and a brighter future as T2 opens and international travel markets start to recover.
We will also be launching the first Marketing WAM Business Awards in partnership with Bellway Homes, currently on site at Alderley Park with a beautiful development of high end luxurious homes named “Heatherley Wood”. The Business awards are about finding examples of resilience, entrepreneurship and recovery in our business community to share and encourage us all. More details on the day.
Finally as WAM is an area famous for tech innovation a couple of Glasshouse companies will give us a Five Minute Spotlight on their business and goals for 2021 and beyond. Plus there will be the usual updates from us after 18 months of lockdown on our plans to support, promote, connect and grow our business network.
There will also be the chance to take a brief tour of the Glasshouse at 10am. Please let us know as you RSVP if you would like to take part in that.
Parking is in the multi-storey car park adjacent to the Glasshouse. Tea and coffee and pastries will be available from 8.15am.
