Wilmslow care facility welcomes new manager

New Care has announced the appointment of Darren Molyneux as registered home manager at its 63-bed Wilmslow Manor facility, on Handforth Road, Wilmslow.

As home manager, Darren is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day running of the care home, leading and managing staff so they can perform their roles to the best of their ability and ensuring they have all the skills required to care for the residents. Darren initially joined New Care in 2018 as Team Leader and has since furthered his care career at the company, taking on the roles of Head of Care and Deputy Home Manger in recent years, as well as achieving a diploma in Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care with distinction. He said of taking on his new role:

“I am really proud of all that I have learnt and achieved at New Care and am even more passionate about my new role than ever before.  Wilmslow Manor is a stunning care facility with an amazing team located in a beautiful setting, and I am looking forward to building strong relationships with the residents, their relatives and the staff.

“My ultimate aim is to work towards an outstanding rating with the CQC for Wilmslow Manor’s first inspection; that would be an incredible achievement.  And of course, I’d like all residents to continue living life to their full potential, enjoying the warmth, comfort and vibrant community that Wilmslow Manor offers.”
