Spectrum Ophthalmics appoints North West agencies

Macclesfield-based Spectrum Ophthalmics has appointed two North West marketing agencies as it gears up for a concerted period of business development and growth.

Boutique public relations and communications consultancy Philosophy PR and digital performance agency Growth & Brains will support the leading independent ophthalmic provider as it works to achieve its aim of becoming the first choice distributor in the sector.

Starting immediately, Stockport-based Philosophy PR will engage industry media to drive awareness, inform and educate optometrists and ophthalmologists in both the NHS and private sectors to build the profile of Spectrum and its unrivalled range of ophthalmic products and services.

On the digital side, the team at Liverpool-based Growth & Brains will implement a range of data-led SEO, PPC and conversion optimisation services to analyse Spectrum’s existing online presence and current performance and drive new growth.

Owned and operated by experienced communications professionals Gemma Carey and Victoria Maltby, the Cheadle Hulme-based agency has proven expertise in the healthcare sector having worked for a number of health, wellbeing and social care brands over the last decade.
