As part of plans to invest in the UK market, German software giant SAP has revealed plans for a new office in Alderley Park.
SAP has announced plans to open a new customer experience centre in London, as well as developing a presence at Alderley Park to better serve its business software customers in the North of England. The investment in comes alongside the launch of SAP UK Data Cloud to meet growing demand for in-country data centres and cloud infrastructure for UK-based users of its software.
SAP is expected to complete on its new facility at Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park development near Macclesfield later this year.

In total, the German software giant plans to invest a quarter of a billion euros in the UK over the next five years. Plans will also see SAP develop its internship programme and increase its spend with social enterprise organisations across the country. The company will also scale up its apprenticeship programme to further grow the number of trained and skilled people across the IT industry.
