Alderley Edge-headquartered commercial property provider, Orbit Developments, has secured a number of new lettings at Academy Business Park in Knowsley.
Rexel, a leading supplier to the electrical industry with over 200 branches nationwide and LiverPrint, a specialist in workwear, uniform and branded merchandise, have each entered into ten-year leases for a combined total of 8,000 sq ft, following lettings earlier this year by Screwfix and Costa.
Following investment from Orbit Developments, the business park is able to support a range of organisations looking for premises ranging from warehousing to trade counters and eateries. The creation of the trade counter units was part of its second phase of development on the site, which also included a 110,000 sq ft warehouse.
Dennis Dwyer, Divisional Director for Obit Developments, comments:
“The continued interest from national companies in the Academy Business Park is testament to not only what Orbit Developments has created but also the strength of the local economy. National chains and growing independent businesses see the site as part of the continued success of their companies due to the strength and demand from customers in the area.”
Academy Business Park is situated in Knowsley, nine miles north-east of Liverpool city centre and just one mile north of the M57. It was crowned the winner of Commercial Development of the Year at the 2018 Knowsley Business Awards.
A family-run business, Orbit Developments is one of the largest providers of commercial property in the UK with a diverse portfolio of offices, retail and industrial spaces across the North West of England.
