Macclesfield based design and development agency Nexer Digital has announced a new appointment to its team, alongside a change of role for one senior colleague.
Lee Valentine will join Nexer Digital as a business analyst in the agency’s product and optimisation team. Valentine joins the agency from Russian energy giant, Gazprom, after 10 years in a number of analyst roles. In his new role, he will bring his product ownership and analysis experience to advice clients on digital strategy.
Nexer Digital product manager, Lee Emery, has also transferred to a new role at the agency, taking on the title of Product and Optimisation Team Lead as part of a move to embed strategic product management into Nexer products and services. She will also be working closely with the data team, ensuring they meet the agency’s aims to solve problems and highlight opportunities for clients using data, business analysis and product management approaches.
Emery explained:
“A key cause of product failure is that objectives are not specifically defined and there is no clear way to quantify what success looks like. Sometimes clients come to us with a problem, and we’ll address that problem through user research, co-design and discovery to clearly define concepts, technology options and solutions. Other times, clients may have a well-defined solution in mind, so we can help them ensure it aligns with and helps to deliver organisational goals.”
