Colleagues from Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield have been recognised by LSH Auto in its annual ‘Best of the Best’ awards celebrations.
Nominated for exceeding the company goals and going above and beyond their own roles, the seven winners included Liane Lee, Dealership Host and Health & Safety Co-ordinator, Paula Brady, Sales Executive, Debbie Flood, Senior Sales Administrator, Nathan Matthews, Site Co-ordinator, Richard Unwin, Warranty Administrator, Peter Ballard, Aftersales Executive, and Micheala Brooks, Central Sales & Stock Administration Operations.
LSH Auto employs more than 600 colleagues across its Mercedes-Benz showrooms in Macclesfield, Stockport, Whitefield, Birmingham, Solihull and Tamworth.
Ian Williams, Head of Human Resources, said:
“It’s really important for us to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our colleagues. They’ve worked so hard to maintain our high standards and have managed to exceed our annual targets, despite the challenges that the motor industry has been facing.
“This year, we held a series of virtual cocktail masterclasses in place of an annual awards dinner, due to the Omicron situation. We delivered cocktail gift boxes (with options for alcoholic or non-alcoholic ingredients) to all our award winners ahead of their masterclass, along with Just Eat vouchers. It was a huge success, and the feedback has been fantastic.”

Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield and Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield virtually came together to celebrate the achievements of 14 winners from hosts, sales and aftersales executives to technicians, paint sprayers and service advisors. Debbie Flood said:
Winning a Best of the Best Award was a fantastic surprise and the virtual cocktail making events were a great way to celebrate.”
Paul Smith, General Manager Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield, said:
“All our winners gave an outstanding 2021 performance. They embrace our values of trust, integrity, teamwork, relevance and social responsibility, and have gone above and beyond for their departments, colleagues and our customers.
“As a company we know that our success relies on our colleagues. The ‘Best of the Best’ awards are a fantastic way to celebrate their dedication and commitment over the past 12 months and to look forward together to an exciting year ahead.”
LSH Auto is currently recruiting for talented individuals to join its expanding team, including a range of opportunities in Macclesfield. Available careers range from technicians, aftersales and sales executives, to parts operatives, customer experience team members and central support roles.
