The ambitious IT support firm is seriously investing in local marketing to raise awareness of its skills and services in the Cheshire East region and have helped 100s of clients resolve issue and improve business processes.
Sales Director Carl Enser said:
Marketing WAM is the perfect partner to help us build business around our Macclesfield base and gives us the opportunity to share our proactive blogging and content strategy with a much wider audience. We are excited about the opportunities ahead.”
ID-I Promotional Merchandise has joined at silver level. The company specialises in providing a total end to end solution re promotional merchandise, designing, printing, sourcing and delivering bespoke solutions to a range of clients – some already in the Marketing WAM group.
ID-I promotional merchandise will benefit from its logo and profile on the Marketing WAM website, unlimited coverage from news and advisory pieces and regular attendance at what are now being described as some of the best business events in the area.
This month Marketing WAM was at The King’s School Derby Fields Pavilion with members hearing from headmaster Dr Simon Hyde on the inspiring story of how they secured a £60m investment to create an amazing new school campus, which opens this September.
Businesses were invited to start a dialogue with the school to develop closer links around providing real life challenges for students on Business Studies and Economics courses, offering talks and experience to showcase career opportunities right on the doorstep.
Also sharing the limelight was SAS Daniels employment lawyers Katie Hodson and Warren Moores, who gave a thought-provoking talk on workplace etiquette ‘to hug or not to hug’.
Cheshire East Councillor Nick Mannion gave a brilliant update on the vision for Macclesfield, a town that celebrates it quirkiness, green, creative, connected and social.
Nick spoke of its reputation as a home to innovators, entrepreneurs and independents, thriving, diverse, distinctive and inclusive. He was also keen to stress that the town is rich in heritage and culture, with outstanding employment opportunities, set in stunning countryside, cherishing its past, striving for a sustainable future.
It was exciting to see the passion for change – both physical via public realm improvements and efforts to change perceptions which Marketing WAM will be fully behind.
Ian Pinches from Pinches Medical, ended the session with the launch of his Happiness app – Sentas – sense of your trials and smiles, reminding us that wellbeing needs to be up front and central in our working lives.
Marketing WAM’s next meeting is at The Glasshouse on Alderley Park on March 24th where Dr Kath Mackay, Managing Director, will be expanding on her role to deliver the vision to make the Park a global centre of excellence for fast-growing life science and tech businesses.
