Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels LLP is hosting a free event on managing sickness absence during COVID-19, the latest in its Employment Law webinar series.
The virtual event will take place on Tuesday 27th October 2020 from 10am – 10:30am. The session is aimed at employers, HR professionals, business owners and Senior management from across the North-west.
At the session, employment law specialists from the firm will explain the key points to managing sickness absence during the pandemic. Discussion will include how employers should deal with self-isolation requirements, how to minimalise the effects of absenteeism, and managing time off and payments for employees needing to take sick leave.
This session will be led by SAS Daniels’ Employment Law & HR Associates, Warren Moores and Charlie Wood. The discussion will be followed with a question and answer session.
Katie Hodson (pictured), Partner and Head of Employment Group at SAS Daniels LLP, said:
We understand that for north west businesses, the health and wellbeing of staff are paramount. Therefore, the COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly presented significant challenges relating to managing sickness absence in the workplace.”
The webinar is free to attend and those wishing to join can register via Eventbrite. A link to join the session will be provided on registration.
Previous webinars in the SAS Live series which launched this summer have included sessions on redundancy and alterations to employment contracts.
