Corporate event agency Make Events is moving from its current base at Stanley Green Business Park to a new location in Wilmslow.
Make Events, whose client list includes Thomas Cook, PUMA and Auto Trader, expand into House of Make, at Bollin House next month as they have more than doubled their team from 7-16 members in one year.
Holly Moore, founder and MD of Make Events said:
“We have kept lean for the last six years and stayed in an office space that wasn’t reflective of our brand but enabled us to grow in a considered and stable manner. We have now built up enough resilience to be able to give our team the ultimate experience as well as our customers.”
Make Events’ 12-month recruitment plan is now complete, with recruits from BBC, DRP, Fresh and Clive. Their most recent appointment is Catherine Godsland, former MD of Out There Events. Catherine will be joining the business on a consultative basis to support their growth and account development plans, whilst also being a mentor to the team.
Adam Jackson, Senior Leasing Surveyor at Orbit Developments said:
“Make Events are a successful business and we are delighted to be able to find them new accommodation to support the next phase of expansion. Their ambitious fit out plans will create an amazing space in which to grow.”
Toni Horsfield, the multi award winning interior designer has been appointed to facilitate the office move. Horsfield has transformed the offices of many great companies such as Halfords, Timpson and EE.
Toni Horsfield said:
“It is a joy to work with such a progressive brand. Holly’s vision for the space has been clear from the start and we have been able to really tailor the office to reflect the Make Events DNA; quotes and all! I think it is going to be an extremely creative workspace with some very happy colleagues.”
In order to give the ultimate experience for employees, clients and suppliers, Make Events’ House of Make is described as a collaborative, cool office designed to increase employee enjoyment, talent attraction and attention and boosting creativity.
Holly Moore added:
“The coffee and champagne will always be in abundance with the odd event thrown in too; we welcome clients, suppliers and local businesses to pop in any time.”
