Commercial property developers, Quorum and Chestergate, are planning a major redevelopment of a manufacturing unit in Poynton after acquiring the site earlier this year.
The two Cheshire-based firms plan to deliver a purpose-built 65,000 sq ft facility at Poynton Industrial Estate which will be suitable for warehouse, logistics and manufacturing uses. The developers acquired the site in April this year following a competitive bidding process after former occupier, API Laminates, put the unit on the market.
The QC65 development promises a comprehensive reconfiguration, refurbishment and repositioning of the former manufacturing unit in Poynton, and will include dock level doors and a large power supply. Work on the site is set to compete early 2026.
Williams Sillitoe has been appointed as the sole agents for the scheme, which will be available on either a freehold or leasehold basis.
Mark Sillitoe, of Williams Sillitoe, said:
“This is one of the very few opportunities of this scale currently available in the region.
“Its strategic location, with strong links to Manchester Airport and the motorway network, will make it highly attractive to both local and national operators and we anticipate strong demand.”
