Macclesfield and Manchester-based car finance company, Zuto, has announced 80 new hires across its two sites in the North West.
The firm, which has welcomed 165 new employees since last June, has been buoyed by an increase in used car sales during lockdown as people have turned to private cars to keep public transport free for key workers. In addition to the 80 new jobs created this year, Zuto also plan to launch a graduate sales scheme, creating a further 30 roles.
CEO of the Macclesfield based car finance firm, James Wilkinson said: “
It has been an exciting start to the year for Zuto and we are really happy to welcome all our new Zutonites to the business, particularly our graduates, many of whom are taking their first step into the professional world.
“We are looking forward to continuing to hire great talent in the North West and look forward to celebrating many more milestones over the coming years.”
Now in its 15th year, Zuto was founded in 2006 by James Wilkinson and Ryan Digna, and acts as a marketplace, matching consumers with suitable lenders to purchase used vehicles, either from dealers or private sellers. The firm has accelerated its growth thanks to outside investment in 2019 of £7 million that has allowed the Macclesfield car finance business to invest in its technology and digital customer experience.
