LSH Auto, the dealership group behind Mercedes-Benz of Macclesfield, has been announced as the official sponsor of British Taekwondo triple World Champion, Bianca Walkden.
The announcement comes as Bianca Walkden prepares to represent Team GB at the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer; the athlete won a bronze medal in Rio De Janeiro in 2016 and is hoping to improve on her performance at this year’s games.
The partnership agreement will see Taekwondo triple World Champion Bianca become an ambassador for LSH Auto, which has Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the North West and Midlands. Bianca’s first vehicle from the Mercedes-Benz range will be a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet.
Martyn Webb, Managing Director LSH Auto, said:
We’re really pleased to be supporting Bianca and wish her all the best for the Olympics this summer. In addition to her bronze medal at the last Olympic Games, she’s already a multiple World Champion, European Champion, Grand Prix Champion and Grand Slam Champion. It’s fantastic news that she’s going to be flying the flag for Team GB and for LSH Auto too.
“We plan to hold some special events for our customers and colleagues, where they will have the opportunity to meet Bianca. In the meantime, we will be cheering her on as she prepares for Tokyo and keeping everybody up to date with her progress on our social media channels.”
Bianca Walkden said:
I’m so excited about my new Mercedes-Benz. I just need some good weather now so I can get the roof down! The team at LSH Auto have been really helpful and I’m looking forward to working with them over the next year.”
