John Lewis Cheadle is hosting a fashion show to help raise money for St Ann’s Hospice’s Build It Together appeal for a new hospice in Heald Green.
Tickets are on sale and going fast for a night of fun and fashion where you can support your local hospice.
This will be the second catwalk show featuring the St Ann’s team as models, with children also taking part in strutting down the catwalk.
Julie Sandbach, Inpatient Clinical Services Secretary at St Ann’s, said:
“I’m taking part as a model in the fashion show this year with my six year old granddaughter Rose, who is very excited!
“I didn’t take part in the show last year but my friends had a really fun time so I put myself forward this year to be a model. It’s a lovely opportunity for hard-working staff and volunteers to get involved in a fundraising event and get pampered a bit too!
“Rose has been talking about the fashion show all the time, she really wants to shake hands with everyone as we walk down!”
The show will feature cosy autumn/winter looks and festive partywear for women, men and children.
It takes place on Thursday 24th October, with every ticket including a glass of fizz on arrival, a £5 voucher to spend at John Lewis, entertainment from the Crystal Chords Barbershop Chorus and an opportunity to have a complimentary hand massage. Julie added:
“The fashion show will be a really good fundraiser for the hospice. I’m really proud to be part of it, it’s something different to get involved in, and to be pampered and wear something you wouldn’t normally wear is lovely too! It will be great to take advantage of a nice evening and for all the family to come and watch. We can’t wait to showcase the latest looks from John Lewis and support St Ann’s Hospice.”
Each ticket costs £15 and can be purchased via the St Ann’s Hospice website, and there will be raffle tickets available to buy on the night to win some amazing prizes.
