John Lewis Cheadle confirms extended Christmas opening times

In the approach to Christmas, John Lewis Cheadle has confirmed its opening times for the festive season.

From Thursday 11th December to Tuesday 23rd December, the store will open 9am to 9pm on weekdays, 9am to 8pm on Saturdays, and 10.30am to 5pm Sundays (10.30am – 11am, browsing only). The extended openings hours aim to give shoppers extra time to get their Christmas shopping done in time.

For last minute shoppers, John Lewis Cheadle will open 9am to 5pm on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24th December), while remaining shut on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and reopening on Saturday 27th December. The store will also remain closed for the New Year’s Day Bank Holiday on Thursday 1st January 2026.

Waitrose delivery and Click-and-Collect customers in the Cheadle area are also being given the chance to enter into a prize draw, with prizes including a SAGE coffee machine, beauty hamper and £50 Waterstones Gift Card. Entry forms are being distributed with Waitrose orders in the run-up to Christmas, and can be handed in in-store at John Lewis Cheadle for a chance to win.
