Hampshire based agency, Jargon PR has acquired the Wilmslow based PR specialists, Souter Public Relations, expanding the agency’s presence in the North West.
Jargon PR will welcome Sue Souter, Founder of Souter PR and the three-person agency team to Jargon PR. Sue is joining Jargon PR as Associate Director and will report to CEO, Simon Corbett.
Jargon PR billed fees of £1.4m in FY:2019-20 and the acquisition of Souter PR will support the agency’s growth trajectory, as it targets annual fee income exceeding £2 million this financial year.
Jargon PR will welcome Souter PR’s portfolio of clients including Docutech, providers of a secure system for document storage, Kemtile, a leading specifier and installer of hygienic flooring and drainage systems, Leonard Curtis, which provide businesses with strategic advice, Roberts Bakery, UK-based bakery chain and Everyday Loans, a direct loan lender.

Jargon PR was established by Simon Corbett on 1st October 2009. The acquisition of Souter PR is the second acquisition for Jargon PR in the past nine months, following the acquisition of Welsh agency Vantage PR in November 2020.
