Citation acquires cyber security consultancy

Wilmslow based HR and Health & Safety specialists, The Citation Group, have announced the acquisition of a Lancaster-founded information security consultants, Mitigate Cyber.

The acquisition, Citation’s third of the year, will enable the group to expand its offering for SMEs to include specialist cyber security consultancy and software services. Chris Morris, Group CEO at The Citation Group, said:

Founded at InfoLab21 at Lancaster University, Mitigate Cyber has grown since 2013 and now boasts a presence in Manchester and London and is among the largest cyber security services providers based in the UK.
