Cheshire East Council have released a statement warning the public about potentially dangerous misinformation being shared surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.
Dr Matt Tyrer, Acting Director of Public Health at the council said:
There is a lot of misinformation, rumour and myths going around about Covid-19 – particularly on social media.
