Mottram Hall have announced that the North of England’s first Champneys Spa will open its doors at the hotel on the 14th September.
The spa will open in September after Champneys have invested £15 million into the Cheshire estate, including £10 million on the 33,000 sq ft spa and health club. Facilities have been designed by architects Darling Associates, and interior designer Beverley Bayes of Sparc Studios.
Both spa day and overnight guests will be invited to use the state-of-the-art facilities including thermal experiences by DaleSauna. Alongside the Champneys range of spa treatments and products, Clarins and Elemis will feature too. Other new facilities include:
- 20m Swimming pool
- Poolside cabanas
- Brechel sauna
- Salt steam room
- Monsoon shower
- Drench shower
- Ice fountain
- Cold room
- Organic sauna
- Technogym
- Panoramic studio
- Spin studio
The hotel near Macclesfield will also be home to the UK’s first ever Champneys barbers.
Following an enforced closure due to the coronavirus, the manor house, restaurants and golf club reopened in July with new measures in place to reduce the risk of Covid-19.
Mottram Hall is now taking spa day and stay bookings ahead of the September launch, with demand expected to be high. A small number of new club memberships are also available.
