Acquisition for Alderley Edge software provider

Alderley Edge-based software provider, IEG4 has announced the acquisition of Agile Applications, another provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to local authorities.

IEG4 provides SaaS digital solutions to public sector bodies, and the acquisition of Agile Applications will expand its offer with tools in complementary business functions to IEG4’s existing products.

The acquisition has been backed by private equity investor, LDC (part of Lloyds Banking Group), and ensures the Alderley Edge-based software firm is well-positioned to continue with expected growth. The move also further underscores IEG4’s commitment to ensuring public sector organisations can operate more efficiently and effectively.
