
Alderley Edge-based IT provider, Chess, has announced the acquisition of specialist cybersecurity consultancy, CyberLab.
CyberLab takes an innovative cybersecurity-as-a-service (CSaaS) approach that combining consultancy and technology to deliver the most robust solution for managing cyber security and expands Chess’s cybersecurity’s offer, which already supplies over 1000 UK blue-chip businesses and government departments.
The acquisition is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Chess within the cybersecurity space, including Foursys in 2017 and Armadillo Sec in 2021, and continues business growth as a ‘one-stop’ cybersecurity advisor, with services across testing, assessment, discovery to consultancy, delivery and hardening.
